Meet Our Physicians
James H. Merritt M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty fellowship training in both ophthalmic plastic & reconstructive surgery and pediatric ophthalmology. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas and Children's Medical Center Hospital.
Jorge Corona M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist subspecializing in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. Dr. Corona was a clinical assistant professor at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and served as an oculoplastic surgeon at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Big Spring, TX before joining Oculoplastic Associates of Texas in 2007.
Meredith Allen Abbott, M.D., is the newest member of Oculoplastic Associates of Texas. Dr. Abbott completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, mentored by Drs. Robert and David Della Rocca. She is board certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in oculoplastics.
